Overview

The 2024 ICSA Applied Statistics Symposium is taking place June 16 through 19 in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the 33rd annual symposium hosted by the International Chinese Statistical Association (ICSA). The theme of this year’s conference is Data-Driven Decision Making: Unleashing the Power of Statistics. This meeting is bringing together both domestic and international statisticians working in academia, government, and industry. The symposium features short courses, invited sessions, and poster presentations, as well as opportunities for networking and recruiting. See the program page for an overview, and explore the full agenda to learn more about specific offerings.

The conference is at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. Located at 2100 West End Avenue in Midtown Nashville, the hotel is directly across the street from the Vanderbilt University campus and a few blocks away from 2525 West End Avenue, home of several Vanderbilt University Medical Center departments, including the Department of Biostatistics. A short walk, ride, or drive from the hotel will deliver you to Centennial Park, Broadway, and other major tourist destinations.

The travel and accommodations section of this website (under Registration) and the FAQ have information about transportation and other logistics, and the Nashville page has some suggestions for meals and sightseeing. We hope you have a wonderful time at this year’s symposium!
