Overview

The 2024 ICSA Applied Statistics Symposium will be held June 16 through 19 in Nashville, Tennessee. This will be the 33rd annual symposium hosted by the International Chinese Statistical Association (ICSA). The theme of this year’s conference is Data-Driven Decision Making: Unleashing the Power of Statistics. We hope that this meeting will attract both domestic and international statisticians working in academia, government, and industry. The symposium will feature short courses, invited sessions, and poster presentations, as well as opportunities for networking and recruiting. We will strive to provide a unique conference experience to all our attendees. A provisional schedule has been set and can be viewed in GoogleDocs.

The conference will be at Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. Located at 2100 West End Avenue in Midtown Nashville, the hotel is directly across the street from the Vanderbilt University campus and a few blocks away from 2525 West End Avenue, home of several Vanderbilt University Medical Center departments, including the Department of Biostatistics. A short walk, ride, or drive from the hotel will deliver you to Centennial Park, Broadway, and other major tourist destinations.

See the travel and accommodations section of this website (under Registration) for transportation and hotel options. Lodging at the conference hotel is available to ICSA attendees at a special rate on a first-come, first-served basis.
