Information for Instructors
I have received the course code for registration. Does this mean that my course is definitely on the program?
It means your proposal has been accepted for the 2024 symposium, but the organizers reserve the right to cancel the course if enrollment is too low. Your registration fee will be waived regardless of enrollment, but instructors of canceled courses will not receive the $1,000 honorarium.
When will I know if enough people have signed up for my course?
The organizers are actively monitoring registration and will notify you when at least 5 participants have enrolled in your course. Instructors will be notified of course cancelations by June 1, 2024.
What are my upcoming deadlines?
You must submit your course materials to the Short Course Committee for review. Please email your initial draft to the committee chairs (Cindy Chen and Jinyuan Liu) by June 1, 2024, and the final version to the chairs by June 8, 2024. The final version will be shared with course attendees.
